Wandering Eye proudly present the first in a series of workshops designed as an introduction to film based photography.  The course will run for two half days on the Wednesday the 11th of August and the following Saturday the 14th of August from 12 - 4pm. The first day will focus on finding images on the streets of Manchester. There will be a brief talk on the art of composition and timing - both essential ingredients to a successful street photograph - with reference to past masters in the field. Participants will then be supplied with traditional film SLR’s and take to the streets in search of photographic treasure. On day two, participants will learn to develop their film, edit and select the strongest images from their day of shooting and finally present their work to the group.
